Had a Finn with a Sako barrel. M38, 39?? "Hex", which is actually an octagon. Gave it away. Decent barrel, better stock than the pure commie ones. The guys that designed the bolt were upside down and backwards. Probably serial bed-wetters. You can have any and all MN's that are finding their way into my domain.
That being said, I have cut a McGowan barrel for a few, and have one right now being shortened to 16-1/4 and a brake install. But they ain't mine!
In case I didn't say it, you can have all my past, current, and future Mosins.

Check out AimSurplus. I bought a couple of M44s and M91s back in the day. They're currently sold out, but you can send them your email address and they'll notify you when they're back in stock. Picked up a nice M1 Garand that way. Good luck.

There is no better milsurp full size cartridge rifle then a finn type/ 39 along with the spam cans you will never finish shooting that you bought for .23/cents a round. I bang the steel gongs just as well as anyone with some other "better" rifle.

I would rather be shooting an 03/garand but I cant shoot as much because I never had the ability to buy inexpensive US made ammo and guns. A bit sad.

Yes I am, and we do get shooter-grade Mosins in stock all the time but seldom list them for sale as we do have a want-list service that swallows them us as soon as they appear.
