IHC M1 Garand Question

I need a gas cylinder lock for a IHC Garand. Does anyone know where I can get one?

I'm sure you can search and find other vendors; there are many.

As you can infer, it is possible to buy a part that is worn beyond specifications; not everyone who sells parts as an individual has the gauge, so it isn't necessarily that someone is trying to cheat you. I have a couple of spares, but I'm not selling and I am not 100% certain they are still good.

I just picked up a Garand and it has the adapter on the end for shooting blanks for ceremony. It didn't come with the lock.

You want the "high hump" version used on Korean era G's.

I have a foil bag with some new ones I you get hard up. There were ten but I had to help another guy too. Most will clock OK.

Since it was used for blank-firing, make sure to scrub the barrel before putting ANY live ammo through it.
