Chinese 54R surp?

I recently opened a can and shot some mil surp 54R from a green spam can. There were no markings (they'd faded) When I ordered the ammo a long time ago, it was supposed to Polish Surp I believe. This stuff was brass cased and shot really well from my M38 and 91/30. I came to find out it was chinese surp! I found the stamping codes online and I was wondering whether anyone else had gotten some of this before? I hadn't ever heard of this particular surp before. anyone? if you find some I'd say jump on it! mine shoots damn fine!

I've never run across Chinese surplus in x54r yet. Was it the brass cased or the copper washed ammo? I thought it was interesting that the brass cased stuff didn't have a boat tail bullet... I thought boat tail bullets were pretty standard from the turn of the century.

yeah it's brass cased, I think it was pretty hit and miss with a boat tail with mil surp though since there were so many eastern block countries making them. Although I'm not 100% sure, that's just what I've run into.

I have some of this chinese 54r, although not a full spam can full (good score if its NM !). some that I have is non magnetic .Rare find nowadays .
