Weird question here, and it's one that I've never had a problem with before.
My SKS rocks forward and backward in its stock about 1/6" if I push hard one the receiver. I can tell this will cause accuracy to drop quite a bit with each shot. Does anyone know if there is a way to tighten the receiver and barrel to the stock? The screws that go through the stock don't seem to tighten enough to hold it in place.
I'm thinking it might just be easier to find another original/replacement and have it beded. I don't want to mess with the stock on the rifle, as it's by far the most beautiful I've ever seen.
If anyone has a cheap SKS stock they'd be willing to get rid of, hit me up I might be interested.
Thanks,
Tim

I'm still going to look at shimming the stock so the action doesn't move.
