    Finding a good K98 stock?

So I might be looking for a nice original stock for a K98.
The original stock has been sporterized.
The barreled receiver is in Excellent shape with good bore and not sporterized.
Where might I look and what would be a good price.
Looked on Ebay, they want the same price as a whole rifle.
If to hard to find a good one at a good price I will just put it in a Hogue stock I have and finish sporterizing it.

        Stock is 360 bucks
        Shipping is about 50
Adding waffenampts or serial numbers is extra

Try Gunboards. I see Mauser stocks often over there in the for sale section. PAX

                Thanks,
                Appreciate the link.
However not going to pay $400 for just a stock.

I see that, but I don't want 600 dollars into this, only a couple hundred total.

What's your budget and receiver code? Do you need a flat or cupped buttplate?

A "nice" original K98 stock is going to cost at least $200.00

                          Just supply and demand.

US1945, as I recall, has those WW2 German 98k stocks out of Norway.

                              Thanks for the input guys.
Did not realized the stocks commanded such prices.

Not sure of receiver code, will check Wednesday as the rifle is not with me right now.
Was hoping to spend about $100 for a nice stock, but looks like that might be dreaming, wanting one with flat butt plate.

I did find these, but don't the quality and again more than I wanted to spend.
