How long does it take these days?

Put my C&R application in at the end of August....still checking the mail every day. Anyone have a recent experience? Also, is there any way to check up on the progress?

That's too long. I would give them a call. Last year I waited and waited for my renewal and finally called. It turned out it had been issued weeks earlier and apparently been lost in the mail. I had the renewal in a couple of days.

We have people on the forum that have waited 1/2 a year. Its not uncommon. 1-6 months actually is the range of C&Rs I've seen people say. This one guy got it in 21 days

I just got mine and it took 6 weeks from sending to getting. I used a debit card and they charged it about a week after I sent it off, that was the only info I could get on the process.

I called the processing center a couple times to see if I could get any info, but I could never get a live person on the phone and I never left a message.

I received my renewal in 3-4 weeks. My buddy had his renewal sent back in 6 weeks.

It took me almost 3 months since they charged my Credit card. The lady said the only holdup was CALIFORNIA . They still have their fingers in it! But I got mine today
