I'd buy it for cheap as a shooter but yeah.....someone dumped $1000 down the toilet when they did that. There are some idiot fudds out there for sure.

If it sold for cheap ($300), I would restore it.

To be fair, Ye Olde Hunter probably sold it for about $34.95 in military configuration and a few $$$ more if "sporterized". Doesn't look like it was done recently.

                Still probably fun to shoot.

I forgot about possible resto. I actually have an excellent Ljungman barrel in my stockpile somewhere. Forgot I had bought that until x51 mentioned resto.

only showing two parts, both different numbers, might just be a junk box rebuild.
but if less than $20.usd i could think about it for parts.

oops my eyes are not so good, the frame and bolt carrier are same number.

I've got a fresh Ljungman barrel also. They were dirt cheap when Springfield Sporters sold them (around $40 IIRC). However, does anyone know any Gunsmiths that work on Ljungmans? I could also use one that works on FN 49's.

                        Recoil will be mild

Likely be rather accurate as well.

Sad but I've seen worse like a FN49 turned in to a bullpup.
