Lyman 438 Field scope

I have 438 Field scope with rings and mounts, seems to be in good condition, but the crosshairs are rotated to an X instead of vertical, I believe these are adjustable but know nothing about scope, acquired it about 25 yrs ago in deal, been in gunsafe ever since with the Remington 510-p targetmaster single shot included in deal, anyone know value? Would like to trade scope or sell to get a good fixed power 10X thanx for info

I know they made several different reticles. But have never seen a X one. It is maybe that way because it is out of wack maybe? Not saying they never made X, maybe someone else has.

They can be quite valuable in nice shape and working. Upwards of 400.00 maybe..Not to me, but to someone,LOL Neat Scopes.
