Hi all,
Hoping for some help in identifying these 2 identical projectiles (keys included for scale). They've got some encrustation. A friend uncovered them diving on a shipwreck in the Caribbean. The story she was told was they came from WWII when pilots used the wreck as target practice. I first thought they might actually M69 practice mortars from an M2 but the fins look longer. Then I found out about MK23s. http://www.nebraskaaircrash.com/prac...bs/anmk23.html
What do you guys think? Thanks for input.
Suggestions for cleaning them off?
