    Colt 1903 WW2 General Officer's Pistol

I finally got my factory letter for this 1903 today. Serial says made in 1943 and letter says shipped in 1945.

It appears to have never been fired and was represented as such. Which means I really need to find a shooter 1903 now and no more safe queen versions.

Awesome. I've always liked General officer's pistols. Saw one at gun shop I worked at 40 years ago. It's on my list of guns I should have purchased, like a 1941 Johnson, matching pair of S&W triple locks, gyro jet, G model FAL, etc.

Well jeeze, if you want a shooter, I'll trade you my 1928 vintage M1903 for it. Shoot, since I am such a nice guy, I'll even pay the shipping.

Now back to reality.......that is a super nice example of a USP M1903, I am envious.

                      Ahh...

What a beautiful firearm. Congrats SkyHawk! Wish I had one this pristine.
