First Time Using 03FFL/COE

Have just used my 03FFL and Filed on CFARS. Received an e-mail saying I would be notified by mail the results of my application. Any idea of the turn around time? First time filing for an in-state C&R aqquisition. Thanks

Did you upload a photo/scan of your driver’s license? If not it will be kicked back to you.

Turn around can be anywhere from a week to a year. Doesn’t matter really though - you have done your part when you have submitted a complete form.

Average time for my C&R approval letters has been about 4 months consistently over the past 2-3 years.

Back in August, they turned around 3 submissions I did in two days. Had the hard copy letters in hand within a week of submitting.

I filed paperwork mid August, spoke with rep end of August to confirm paperwork received and expected date for answer. Rep said I should hear by end of November. Current turn around time is about 3.5 months

If I'm reading your post correctly, you're registering a in-state purchase of a C&R firearm using CFARS. If that is correct, my last gun was filed on CFARS and turnaround was a matter of days, not even weeks.

Did you purchase from a LGS or an individual?

My personal experience is anywhere from 2 weeks to 16 months for the confirmation letter.
