mauser "high sights?"

so i took out the mauser to test it yesterday. Bunches of fun. After i fixed the firing pin that is. lol. But it was shooting way high. and i couldnt adjust the rear sight any lower. So there was this other guy at the range(cool guy) that said he had a mauser and had the same problem.

Said i need something like high sight? i dont know the exact name. It is a little think that goes on the front site or something like that so it evens it out?

He showed me his and told me to google it. Tried a search but nothing of consequence came up.

So my queston is, What is the name of the thing he was talking about? do you have any online links where i can buy them.

You can get taller front sight blanks from Brownells and Tennessee Gun Parts. I had to get them for some of my Mausers because they were set up with 400 meters as the lowest setting.
