    7.7 Jap WOW!

At $70 a box somebody musta been a little desperate?

I only paid $35/ box for Norma new stuff when it shows up! 100 rds ea of new 6.5 and 7.7 will keep me fer years as I don't shoot the Arisakas that often.

Bid in a Proxibid online auction to acquire a 7.7 mm Jap Ammo from Kull Auction & Real Estate Co / Kull's Old Town Station.

I don't think it is $70 per box because they are different types of ammo. With premium it is more like $81 for 3 boxes and there are 3 lots of 3 boxes. That's $27 a box which isn't bad.

Did you open and read the auction site results?

Clearly states 3 boxes of 15 rounds each no other "lots" mentioned on my end.

It states $70 x 3 = $210 ( Which in auction parlance is "$70 three times the money equals $210") and I fergot about adding the buyer premium, so ya can tack another 15% online buyer preminum to that!

So yes it is 70 bucks a box plus the preminum.

Maybe they used mobile like me, but usually when it is 3 of something they are 3 of the same. Thus why I figured 3 lots of 3 boxes.

Edit: I reread it and I am still reading it as 3 lots of 3 boxes of 15 rounds. Total of 9 boxes of 15 rounds for $210 + premium.

          Graf and Sons...

Graf & Sons, the reloading authority, has a wide selection of reloading supplies, shooting supplies, ammo and more.

It reads "3 boxes of 15 rds each 45 rds total, does not say anything about a second or third "lot" any where, each lot would have separate lot numbers.

But one can interpret anyway one is comfortable with.

I did win an item in that auction so maybe I'll check with them directly!

This is why you reload for calibers like these.

                  High? Yes.
                  Unanticipated? Nope.

Agreed, if you shoot them often or have several ya like to exercise frequently, once every couple of years not worth it as in my case, but each to his own.

To reload, you have to have cases. Some, like the 7.7 Japanese can be formed from common cases, but some can't.

I wouldn't have anticipated that kind of selling price, but like the saying goes, "when you want it and you see it you pay the price if you gots the money!"

I just would put myself on the "notify me list" with Graf and Sons or others vendors, and when the NORMA ammo popped up I would buy 2-6 boxes each cal fer $32 -$35 per box, that was 2.5 years ago and still haven't shot any of it yet, too any other things to shoot or lack of time and opportunity.

Haven't checked fer list pricing recently for obvious reasons, like I don't need it right now

Mobile looks different than desktop. That's why I read 3 lots of 3. I am curious what that actually meant if you do talk to them.

Yea me too! I've never seen the or use the mobile app so I don't know what they are showing you there, could be different then the website.

I did reach out to them cuz I'd like my completed invoice so I can mail check instead of them credit carding my purchase. I did ask for clarification on that particular lot.

Will be interesting to see IF they actually respond back as some of the Auction houses don't bother, especially if the auction has closed.

Done business with them numerous times over the years, only time I got skunked was a multi item invoice some years ago (about $1800 worth, when I still had money) that included a "Type 38 Arisaka", which turned out to be a Type 99 ( being an Arisaka newbie at the time it took awhile to discover the mistake and they refused to take it back, I kept it and sold it myself. But all in all have had decent luck with them.

Just caught the pic from the mobile site you posted, was wondering why the calguns site wasn't working on my end, yer photo was loading and my PC was slow!!

I see what you are saying and I concur it can be confusing! Will be interesting to see what they say.

I've bought a few things from Kull before...mixed results.

Best deal was an Irish Contract MK4 Enfield with numbers matching bayonet in unused condition.

Bid in a Proxibid online auction to acquire a Smle No. 4, Mk 2 (f) British Military Bolt Action Rifle. from Kull Auction & Real Estate Co / Kull's Old Town Station.
