Steyr M95 Bolt Issue

If you take the bolt out, and move the trigger forward and backward, do you see the part on the rear of the receiver where there is a cutout and a little bolt stop moving up and down? If you move the trigger forward, that should depress that little bolt stop and allow you to remove the bolt. If you are able to take the bolt out without moving the trigger forward, it sounds like that part may be worn or not actuating properly, or maybe not mating with the bolt. Maybe it is stuck in the downward position from grease or foreign debris that is blocking its return up to the normal resting position, or maybe it has been worn down or damaged, or maybe the bottom of the bolt has been worn down or damaged. I don't think this component is crucial to the bolt lock up for firing but I wouldn't shoot the rifle just to be on the safe side until you figure it outComment
