Bought my first gun ever there. A Mossberg Maverick 88. Still have it!

I bought my Chinese SKS from Classic firearms back in early June for $400 plus shipping. It came with a spiked bayonet but when I went to Turner's (Orange) to start the paper work, the guy behind the counter told me he couldn't deliver the rifle with the bayo attached, so he removed it, and put the parts in the box.

I wonder if Turner's is asking their supplier to remove the bayos before taking delivery?

Any chance that each one is guaranteed? I talked to a few locations and get different answers. Most say they do not come with spike bayonets, some say they sometimes do and sometimes dont, and one guy told me about the legality of shipping spiked bayonets, so it will be in the box, but gave me no guarantee.

Let me know if the one you got at turners has matching serial numbers. I'd like matching serials and a bayonet.

The SKS I received from classic firearms had a majority of numbers matching, but not 100%. I don't have the rifle in front of me at the moment, but if I recall correctly the parts with matching numbers were receiver (obviously), bolt carrier, and fixed mag. I think the actual bolt had a different number.

I'm not too familiar with SKSs as this is my first one, so I'm not too sure on what parts would have numbers and where to look, besides the ones in plain view.

I'd like to say at least from classic firearms they are guaranteed a bayonet since in the product description it does say SKS with "spike bayonet". Some people have reported getting a blade style bayonet from the recent classic firearms batch of SKSs

Poking around the CG forums, it sounds like the majority of sks Turner's is offering do NOT come with bayonet, although some may have them. Not too sure if I'll pick up a Turner's SKS yet.
