    Winchester model 37 with ser#

    Hello all,

I have a Winchester m37 .20 ga shotgun that I would like to sell. They were made from '37 to '63 and Winchester didn't bother to stamp ser#'s on them. Is it tricky to sell a shotgun without a ser# in CA?

    TIA

Rusty, the ffl would simply log it as "No SN"...no big deal and same for federal law.

It's also obviously a Curio and Relic. A very nice gun for teaching the basics to a new shooter.

Sell it to a C&R+COE holder and bypass the FFL, legally.

Yep, that the plan. I have this shotgun and several rifles that are C&R that I'm planning on posting on the C&R site here as soon as I can figure out the posting a photo bit. I'm thinning the herd due to house purchase.
