Walked into a gun store that I haven't been into yet and walked out with these two beauties. Well I suppose beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I think I did okay with these little guys.
First is a 1941 dated Femaru M37. Overall finish is fairly nice, but it does show some holster wear. There are no import marks on it and while there isn't any capture paperwork with it, I am semi sure that it was probably a GI bringback. It didn't come with a magazine but since I only paid $175 for it, I figure that I can take my time looking for an original mag. Repops can be had for $30 so if I really want to shoot it right away, I can get one of those to tide me over.

Second was this 1967 vintage Walther PP in .380. Finish-wise it does have some heavy freckling on the left side of the slide, but except for that and a minor amount of holster wear on the other side, the finish is just about perfect. The feed ramp doesn't even look like it has had a bullet slide over it and internally it looks unfired. This one cost me a bit more at $300, but I have been looking for a inexpensive shooter grade PP or PPK for many years, so I am very happy with this one.
