    SK...SK...SK...SCORE!!!!!!!

(You thought I was going to say "SKEET!"........shame on you!)
I love this one. It's a gem. COLT Model 1903 32ACP. My '03 is turning me into a MONSTER!!!!!!

Yeah, I know - it's got quite a bit of pitting on the slide. But whaddaya' expect from an old semi-auto pistol that actually has the words "calibre" & "smokeless" engraved on it? It cost me right around $300. Did I do O.K.?

I believe some were in factory nickel finish. I have a 1st gen model myself I picked up at a similar price in 2007.

How can you tell between a 1st generation model & other "generations?"

Thanks, Looks like mine is not as old as I thought. Seems to have been manufactured between 1937-1938.

Nice score. 1903's are a joy to shoot and are one of the nicest designs even with todays standards.

one of my favorite Colt designs.

First generations have a removable barrel bushing. Similar to the 1911.

I have a Colt 1908 which is the .380 ACP version of the Colt 1903. I found a excellent condition 1903 barrel and now I by just swapping out the barrels can shoot .32 ACP. I can actually use the .380 magazine to shoot .32's although I have a 1903 mag.

I picked mine up several years back and paid $200 for it. The darn 1903 barrel and mag cost me another $100. I actually had a custom holster made for it so I could use it as a ccw. I'll have to take some pics and post them.
