    Mags

So with this new magazine deal going on, I figured I'd finally look for some GI m1 carbine mags, suomi mags and maybe g3 mags for my cetme wannabe. No dice, the only folks selling are chock full of AR, ak, and glock mags!

Anyone found a retailer with some older surplus willing to ship to California yet?

Have you checked out Gunbroker for M1 Carbine mags? It might be time for me to go there and try to pick up some nice 30 rd mags.

Keep Shooting has the 15 round mags for $16.95:
          (not official GI)
The MIL-SPEC M1 Carbine Magazine from United Defense is a 15-round straight box magazine chambered in .30 Carbine, built to the original US military specification issued with the M1 Carbine in 1941. Its heat-treated steel body and blued finish stand up to hard use while resisting corrosion, and USGI-pattern feed lips paired with a heavy-duty spring keep rounds feeding reliably. It drops into all standard M1 Carbines and most post-war reproductions for a tight, wobble-free lockup. This is the right magazine for collectors, range shooters, and anyone running an original or reproduction M1 Carbine.

Are those the KCI ones? I ordered a few from Jestice Arms just to try out but I really don't know how good they are.

There was a seller on the C&R marketplace that was selling USGI ones, but now his sales are on hold. I managed to get an order in with him before he stopped. You could try asking him when/if he plans to resume selling them.

Maybe try J&G, they have KCI, original USGI fair to good and original USGI new.

Just to test...I threw some mags in the basket at J&G. logged in and it let me get all the way up to check out, gave me a shipping price. CA seems to be off their no ship list for now.

Charlie Coopers and Jestice Arms have aftermarket M1 Carbine mags
HK parts and RTG have G3/HK91/PTR91 etc mags - lots of aluminum and some steel.

Stock up while you can, until California tries to do it again with judge shopping.

They already filed an appeal, asking for an immediate temporary stay, and begging for a permanent stay by the 5th.

Anything with Liberty Tree Collectors? I tested with a PPsh mag and got up to CC info and hadn't been kicked out. Didn't buy because I spent way more than I wanted already

Lee's Mags has boatloads of G3 and CETME mags for as little as $2 a piece. I thought about buying some even though I don't have a rifle for them.

LOL. Thought I had enough magazines and then saw Johnson LMG magazines at Liberty and bought 3 of them.

Not like I am ever going to shoot it.

Then I saw the MG13 magazines and bought the 7 and box they had to offer - possibly to alter them to a G43.....or just to keep in the box.

                              It is Christmas.
