Saw that my CMP SA Service Grade Garand is in the e-store as of today. What is my wait now? Ten days or so? It's been so long, and there is finally light at the end of the tunnel.

It just means that they opened your order that you sent in the mail and put it into the system. Once your credit card (if you used a credit card) gets charged it should ship with in a day or so. Once they enter Fed Ex tracking you will get it the next day excluding Sunday and Sat if your local Fed Ex doesn't deliver on Saturdays.Chris

When they open your mail they don't put it into the estore, they just send you a DBU email. It just means that they opened your order that you sent in the mail and put it into the system. When your order goes into the estore it's about 10 days until you get your rifle. I just got a FG Springer yesterday and it posted in the estore about 10-12 days before that.Comment

Ok, don't believe me. I haven't ordered over 30 M1 Garands to prove my post or had Orest Michaels repeat this same thing over the years. I guess you are right.
I have had rifles, ammo, and parts orders sitting in the estore for months at a time.Chris

no they put your serial number on there for youComment

No need to get snippy.
It depends on the order. Ammo/parts orders usually go right into the estore and sit for quite a while. I've ordered 15ish rifles from CMP and sometimes they go right in as "open" and sit for a while and other times I simply get a DBU email then a month or 2 later it shows up as processing. If it shows up as processing you usually have around about 10 more days until it gets shipped at that point you see your rifles serial number pop up.
Can you agree with that?Comment

your best bet is to look for posts who have people recently order.
I sent my order end of Dec, got the DBU email Jan 15th
contacted me end of march about the ammo, and my correct HRA is backordered because its taking more time to process.
ammo shipped on the 8th, got it the 15th
still waiting on rifle.2 HANDGUNS STOLEN! 1 RECOVERED READ HERE

I checked other's posts and they seemed to average 10 days from e-store to receipt. I was just looking for some verification. I got my DBU on 2/12 saying they received my order on 1/26, and my order has been "open" in the e-store as of 4/14 so I thought it should be getting close. You do realize about the 8000-1k orders they got a month because of Obama right?

I totally apologize!! Apparently Orest posted well over a year ago that opening your mail simply results in a "we received your order" email just as you stated. I have been so ingrained with what Orest HAD been saying for years before that post that I still believed it to be true!No need to get snippy.
