Ishapore 2a .308 scope mount

I dont know if C&R is the best place for this, but I figure the mods will move it if they deem necessary

I have an Ishapore 2a in .308 I am looking to mount a scope on. I really prefer not to dril and tap as the rifle is primo condition (well, except for the spray paint somebody did to it, but that is getting changed). So through my research, it appears to basically be the same receiver as a #1 MkIII. From what everyone says on the all knowing internet the B-Square mount seems to be the hot ticket for no gunsmithing mounts. Problem is, I can't seem to figure out which mount to order?

Any ideas or suggestions on a mount for this rifle?

Midway, I got a scope mount that goes in place of the iron sight. I will PM you the link...

I picked up a jungle carbine clone a while back with a scope mounted. The mount is marked Millett SMLE IV, and I don't know what models they make them for, or if they're still available.

It may be drilled and tapped - I'm not an Enfield expert, and haven't looked that closely.

Thanks guys. I should clarify I don;t want a scout scope style that goes up front where the rear sight is. I just dont do well with long eye relief.

That SMLE one looks like a drill and tap, and I might have to go that route. That is really the design I am looking for

I have never found a scope mount for the 2A1 or No.1 Mk3 which doens'r require drilling and tapping and genuinely stays on it's zero. Honestly I wouldn't bother. What I would do, because I assume this is an ailing eye thing rather than thinking the rifle will be an MoA shooter, is go on ebay. Somewher there you can find a guy who makes and aperture which replaces the V slot on the standard rear sight. it makes a fairly significant difference and costs about $20. Also the paint is standard Indian army paint for protection for tropical humid environment so it's the actual original finish.
