    Velodog Hammerless Revolver-Questions

    Hey guys,
A good friend of the family has received a Browning (1903 ?) Hammerless Revolver from a relative that has passed away. They want to find out what they have and determine the value. May want to sell this pistol down the road. I have not seen it first hand, but do have a few pictures. Looks like it is in very nice condition.
I have never seen a pistol like this before, and hate to say that I do not know anything about these, and would like some information from the guys that know. Please take a look at the attached pictures and tell what you can.
    Thanks in advance!

Have found a little info, it may be a Velodog and not a Browning, which maybe the caliber.

    Thanks to sealocan

That style of revolver is often referred to as a Velodog.
It's not made by Browning it's just originally designed to use the Browning 7.65 cartridge.
Which here in the states is referred to as the .32 ACP.

There were lots of copies made of the original maker of Velodog pistols good quality with specimens of much lesser quality.

I hope that gets you started on your search for information and if you do an image search for Velodog revolvers you'll probably find some very similar to yours.

I wonder if anyone else (I'm looking at you late night owls) can identify the maker of from just the revolvers grips and the image of what appears to be imprinted rose on them?
