Source needed for antique striped mosin receiver

Would like to build a hunting rifle from an antique Mosin Nagant rifle receiver. Do not and will not use an intact milsurp for this. The only antiques I seem to fine are Finn M-39 rifles that shouldn't be touched. Anybody know if an antique receiver source or a rifle that was brutalized by bubba? I have searched the net but no such luck for me.

You are much better off looking at a Mauser action. The Mosin Nagant just doesn't lend itself to being altered into a sporter.

It might be easier to find pre 1899 rifle (mauser) instead of just the action. Such as one with a poor bore, beat up/cracked stock might be had at a decent price

Thanks for the comments. I already have a very nice 1891 Argentine. I want an antique rifle that has commercial lead free ammo available so I was going to use a Mosin. The 1893 and 1895 might not handle anything above 7mm Mauser. Maybe if I found one that was already converted to 308.
