Beretta 948 Ammo?

Just picked up a Beretta 948 (and had the pleasure of paying out the nose for a spare factory magazine on eBay) in great shape. Does anyone know if these can digest HV ammo safely? (I have quite a stash of Federal Automatch that would be nice to feed through this gun.)

I wouldn't see any reason why not. It's a pretty robust gun. If you want to pay out the nose for some more magazines I have some spares. As you have found out they are super hard to come by original ones not crap Triple K ones.
