Star Super

Ran into a deal that was just too good to pass up this morning and I wound up taking this Star Super home with me. Overall it is in really good condition with I estimate the overall condition to be about 95+% with it's original bluing with matching numbers throughout The only real flaws on the gun are a couple pinhead sized marks on the slide and some minor holster wear on the slide near the muzzle. It came with an extra magazine and some 9mm Largo ammo. I am not planning on shooting this one very much so the lack of spare parts doesn't bother me in the least.

For $150 I ain't complaining'.



According to what I have been able to research so far, the proof marks show it was made in 1951 and was used by the Spanish military.

I have one of these, didn't get that killer of a deal. I was shooting it a few months ago and the front sight popped off. Never did find it. May have to make a new one.

I was going to hit the range today, but the weather has been iffy with alternate rain, slush and occasional snow......with bright sunshine between each change of precipitation.

I will say that the trigger on this gun is hands-down the best of any military issued handguns I have ever had. My new-to-me used HK USP 45 is due in tomorrow at my local FFL, so I will definitely head to the range to test both of them out.
