CFARS CRIS Processing time?

I'm beginning to wonder if they are sending out letters anymore.

I have some from over two years ago that I received letters on that still say "in progress online"

I submitted some back in February and never got letters on them

Expect 2-4 months. It seems the same amount of time for online submission of C&R/Intra-Familiar transfer. Hope this helps!

I dont know a out C&R specifically. I spoke to DOJ on Monday about my 80% lowers. They say they have up to 120 days to review all applications.

I have had several applications in progress since early June. They said that was beyond their review window and they will look up my filing numbers and review my applications immediately. Hopefully i didnt just volunteer myself to keel hauled.

I've submitted several C&R's over the last few years and received letters for all of them. They are still marked as "In Progress" on CFARS. I don't know if that ever updates.

because of all the new stuff, seems they are backed up on ALL of the CRIS type applications. Somehow COE goes into a different department or something because mine was very fast too. I have C&R acquisitions still pending from early summer.

I have 7 weapons I submitted assault weapon request for back in December of last year that are still listed as "in progress". have not received any letters for any of them as of this date.

I am done with CFARS...

On the third go around to renew my COE, I tried using CFARS to renew. Since I did (with some difficulty) register online and received a BBAW confirmation letter for two rifles, I figured I would use CFARS to renew my COE. It had been awhile since I had logged into CFARS so I knew they would make me re-submit a new password. Went through that process easy enough once before but the latest attempt was total failure. I followed the prompts and was e-mailed a link to complete the process of changing my password. The e-mail link CFARS sent me did not work. I tried multiple times from different pc's and the same thing would happen...

I saved myself aggravation and snail mailed a completed COE form BOF 4008 with personal check to CADOJ. Three days later I seen that my check cleared and in 12 days my renewed COE was delivered to my mailbox. As I have done before, any instate acquisitions of C&R long guns I will use the BOF 961 with a personal check...
