I have no experience with either. I do have a Henry Big Boy and the quality is very nice.
I was going to say Henry since they are made in America but then I checked the prices. The Henry is $1,000 more (MSRP) than the Uberti. I would want to handle both before deciding.

Both have brass and color case hardened versions, in both 45 Colt and 44-40.
ETA: Bass Pro lists the Henry at $2,049. They don't list Uberti.

I've got one of those Henry 1860 reproductions, in .44-40.
