I have not shot either one, but Henry does have excellent customer service if you ever need one.

I have no experience with either. I do have a Henry Big Boy and the quality is very nice.
I was going to say Henry since they are made in America but then I checked the prices. The Henry is $1,000 more (MSRP) than the Uberti. I would want to handle both before deciding.

      Uberti: $1,369 MSRP

      Henry: $2,415 MSRP

Cartridges that revolutionized a field of

Both have brass and color case hardened versions, in both 45 Colt and 44-40.

ETA: Bass Pro lists the Henry at $2,049. They don't list Uberti.

I've got one of those Henry 1860 reproductions, in .44-40.

I like it a lot. There's almost no recoil, it's accurate, and it also makes a lot of friends at the range.

I have shot the Uberti 1860 in .45LC on a number of occasions. Excellent quality and reliability.

I have a Henry and really love it. I can't say squat about Uberti except it's not made here.

              Mated Uberti in 44-40
Both 30 years old, but have always functioned very well and shot accurately. We have a Henry ..........Great rifle, but real, solid quality differences?......... I can't tell.
