It shoots great out of my #5 Jungle Carbines.

My '42 Lithgow Mk3 doesn't like it. I haven't tried it yet out of my other Mk3's

I've seen this ammo function in a Bren gun too.

I have about 200 rounds, haven't gotten around to shooting any of it yet. I think I will shoot this stuff before I dig out those old boxes of English surplus with that corduroy gunpowder.

It keyholes with a spread of 6-8” in 2 of my enfields at 50 yards and shoots really nice 2” 100yd groups in another one. I think it depends how much wear your barrel has, I have been told to use flat base projectiles. I think many enfields do not like boat tail rounds. That said it seems to be reliable ammo of good quality. Cases are steel so obviously not reloadable

I've had good luck with it in my No5, my No4 mk2 doesn't like it at all - I haven't tried it in my other Enfields. I think it really depends on throat erosion from cordite and your barrel, the more wear, the worse these will perform. Based on your comment that PPU performed well, I believe this will too. Just be aware that it is loaded hotter than PPU but it won't cause any damage or create a sticky bolt problem.

The steel cased stuff is good plinker ammo.
My no4 mk1 doesn't seem to care what it eats. The PPU and Wolf Gold are more accurate for my circa 1943 rifle tho. Both 174 gr. and reloadable brass.
