Well, the deal fell through on the Nazi Hi Power due to it just having too many issues with condition vs price. But towards the end of the show a fellow was walking buy with this P14 Enfield with a for sale sign and a question mark for the price. I looked it over, made him an offer and it came home with me.
I must admit that of all the rifles that have passed through my hands over the years, I have never actually owned one of these. Really, the only reason I picked this one up, was the overall excellent condition of the metal. Sometime in the past it was prettied up with a nice shiny coating of something like linspeed, but other than that it has largely remained Bubba free for the 100+ years of its existence.
In spite of myself, I seem to have started a small collection if British service arms and this one does seem right at home with UK/Commonwealth firearms.
