I'm not sure if these have been discussed or not, but I finally ordered a set of the rubber replacement grips that Razor Arms sells on ebay. These grips make an incredible improvement in how the gun feels in the hand.. - However, they do make for a rather large grip in terms of front-to-rear measurement. These won't be for everyone in much the same way a Desert Eagle isn't for everyone.
They wind up costing $35 to your door and you will need to remove the lanyard loop, or make a cut-out in the grip. Other than that, installation was simple and they stay in place, keep the profile thin and adds an extended beaver tail. If you have the frame-mount safety, you can simply remove it and the grip will cover the hole.
I have no affiliation with the seller. I'm just posting as I am very happy with this grip as a product and thought others might be interested in a more comfortable grip for their M57.

There is also a company called Marschal IIRC, over in Europe that makes several kinds of custom wood grips for Tokarevs. I just never got around to knowing when I was going to be around to get an order since they apparently take a month or two..
