FN Herstal Hi-Power picked up at auction, do I have the year right?

I picked this up at a local auction I was hoping some of you might be able to provide more information. I believe it is from 1943 but I could be wrong. Any insight you can provide would be very much appreciated. Thanks

I posted in your thread in the handguns section.

It’s a German Occupation pistol from 1943. Good score. As someone else also mentioned, the barrel is a replacement not original to the pistol.
