FFL03 address change - call the ATF

Submitted ATF Form 5300.38 and waited 5 weeks. Called the ATF and spoke with the clerk, who was very nice. She found my form, looked it over and said everything looked fine and I should receive the license in 7-10 days. Just received it yesterday, about 10 days after calling. In the future, it is probably a good idea to call a week or two after mailing.

I just submitted my address change for my C&R, and it was ten days from mailing my form to receipt of the amended license at my new address.

My address change was done quickly, as Milsurp said. My renewal this year was 3 months, and went past my expiration. Next time I will call.

The address changes are all performed by the federal BATFE, so it shouldn’t matter what state the licensee lives in. Maybe yours was randomly routed to someone who was out sick for a while.
