when I can renew my COE?

When I login to my CFARS account, I have a notification saying my COE has 82 days before it expires, but I don't see any renew button to let me renew my COE online, so I am what is the renew period for COE? like within 30 days?

I just did mine, I was 54 days out.

did u have a renew option when u logged in?

Also did mine yesterday and it was already renewed today. It was set to expire mid November. So you can probably do it around 60 days out.

So if we currently have our COE but have not signed into CFARS, can we create an account based on current COE number and renew online?

You should be able to create a CFARS account, then add your COE # to your profile and then renew.

I always get a renewal in the mail, I think 60 days out. I let mine expire last March. I couldn't see giving CA any more of my money. I moved out of the state in June.
