Info on this shotgun??

A friend of mine has this that was his fathers. Neither of us know anything about it. Safe to shoot??

I would be afraid of the stock cracking in my hand as it is already cracked.

Having taken similar ones apart there are usually multiple cracks under the side plates throughout the inletting.

If the action is tight and the barrels are not Damascus steel then maybe it would be ok to shoot.

Just watch out for large wood splinters where you hold the stock.
