Stopped by there this morning looking for a Winchester and a International Harvester Garand.
They had several service grade IHC's so I picked out what I thought was the nicest one it had a ME of 1 TE of 2, had Bob there look it over he said it was a nice one but recommended I look at a couple others with LMR barrels, we narrowed it down to two, both ME 2, TE 3, I asked Bob which he'd pick and I went with that one.
They only had 3 Winchester service grades, nothing special about any of them, only Winn part was the receiver, but one had a nice clear heel stamp. I also looked at the WRA FG's all in the new hack wood stocks, thought about a FG with LMR barrel but I could barely see the heel stamps, so I went with the service grade SA barrel with better TE and ME, I just wanted to be able to see the "Winchester" on it. Now I just have to wait for my dealer to receive them to get pics, I was in a hurry and didn't even think about it.
