Some American Milsurps

Now that my middle eastern collection is cataloged I thought I'd move on to some recent American milsurp acquisitions.





Eddystone 1917 looks to be mostly "E" marked parts with exception of the bolt.

New England Westinghouse M91, via Russia, then Finland, then back home again

Springfield 30-40 Krag

Growing up, there was a Krag hanging on the wall in the back room of my Grandpa's house which supposedly belonged to my Great Grandfather. I didn't end up with that rifle and they've always intrigued me so I decided to add one of my own to my collection

If you find yourself in Kansas City, MO with some time to spare I highly recommend a visit to the National WW1 Museum. Rows upon rows of contemporary small arms including, if memory serves correctly, New England Westinghouse Mosin serial #1.

My daughter was in KC, MO last week with her hubby on company business.
They played tourist Sat and toured this museum. She sent me a few photos.
She was surprised "the old man" knew what a French 75 and a Renault Tank were. Definitely on the bucket list if we ever get to travel that way.
Not sure what the third piece of Heavy artillery was though, trench mortar?
