Mauser 1914/34 with weird finish on barrel. Should I buy it?

Hey all. The LGS just got a good haul of older .32 pistols. I was looking at this Mauser 1914/34 (I think it's the 34 model,) and the barrel just looks quite odd. Almost looks as though it is oxidized, but I nor the shop owners were sure of what it was. I was hoping the knowledgeable people of calguns could help me. It also looks as though the feeding ramp is chipped. However, when it is inside the gun, the feeding ramp looks fine.

I also attached additional pictures of the gun because I am considering buying it. They want $400 for it, and it comes with a holster that I don't believe is original. Numbers all matching except for barrel. Magazine does not have a number. What do you all think? Hope y'all are having a good Thursday. The weekend is almost here!

I would pass at $400. Non matching messed up barrel is a real price killer.

Not at that price. If they'll come down on the price, then maybe

Thanks guys. Yeah the barrel thing is weird for sure. Not sure what would cause that.

Looks like it was bead blasted. It’s a $200-225 pistol at best as a shooter or parts.

I feel it. Perhaps like $300? I see many better condition guns on GB for 3-4 hundred range, but of course transfer fees are a factor.

I was looking at an ortgies as well. Also in .32 and in OK condition. Nothing obviously wrong as you see here though. But also $400. Seems a bit high for an ortgies.
