CFARS acting up?

DOJ keeps sending me email stating that they have received my submission, even though I have not submitted anything for months. Anyone else getting the same email messages?

Bad week for cfars crashing and delays. Lots of people waited till last minute and system overloaded. I hope they extend till 7/15 or even 8/1

CFARS has been pretty messed up. The AW deadline is coming up so people are probably overloading the system.

Are you getting one email for each firearm you submitted? Do they say "You'll be notified of your results by US Mail"? And are you still waiting for your approval letter?

If your answer is "Yes" to all 3 questions, then those emails are normal - they are DOJ's way of saying the firearms finally just got approved and your letter will be arriving in the mail in a couple weeks.

I got one email for submittal.

all this week, CFARS kept crashing for me when using chrome, firefox, and edge.

Had to use internet explorer 11 to finally connect to CFARS.

I submitted 2 reports for 2 C&R rifles back in late February and they still show as "In Progress".
