    Wow, just wow!
Life was simpler, and more honest, when revolvers and lever actions were the rule.

I don't think I could resist breaking open the case and shooting one. Anyone have any .30-40 Krag laying around?

An amazing bit of history. Better hurry and get your bid in! Two and a half days to go and the pre-bid is $37,500. What's your guess for the final gavel price (NOT counting the 26% Buyers Premium)? I'll say $110,000.

Problem is you'd never be able to shoot them.

You have to keep them unused in the crate to maintain it's collectors value.

I am going to guess on the gavel price not alot more than the starting price. Yes they are supposedly new unissued. But they are at tops probably 2500.00 to 3000.00 apiece as new guns.. Going to be hard to find a collector with deep enough pockets that wants to pay 110,000 in my opinion. But some have way more money than sense these days.

My opinion is that they will not bring more than 50,000 for sure. But I have been way off before,LOL Fun to guess though. And if I am wrong, I did not lose money or anything. Just the contest.

Thought they might be consecutive serials. But they are within a 200 spread.

Higher res picture I can find on their website:

For such an awesome lot they really haven't taken that many photos of it. I guess this auction is more of a traditional in-person affair.

they are well preserved, no need to fire them now, too rare

best to keep them as is

The wooden crate doesn't even look aged! For being 101 years old, that's amazing!
