    Grandfather opened the safe....help?

as the title goes, the safe was finally cracked opened and I received a few rifles. I need some help getting a few some parts as well helping me determining the value of some of these rifles. I am also debating of letting 2 of them go due to the fact that I have limited space and I need to move again pretty soon.

here is a link of an older post about 2 of these rifles according to my grandfather one of them was made by P.O Ackley but I was unable to find any stampings

    here are the photos.

first one is a 1942 sporter 1903 unfortunately the stock was damaged when my grandfather lent his rifle to a friend who starched up the stock. The "friend" refinished the wood but did a crapy job stock is ruined and I am looking for a replacement.

next is a remington 722 chambered in .222 the bluing on the barrel has some patina but it cleaned up nicely. when I took down the bolt I found some dried up blood in the bolt my grandfather was a avid deer hunter back in the day.

my 1957 sako L57 with its distinctive stock in 243. This one has a very slow serial number and its in the 1000,

next is Ackleys rifle chamber in 257 Roberts. The story goes after the gun smith put it together for him. He told his wife to sight it for him so she gave it to her friend who shot 3 rounds and its stayed in the safe. the link on the top has more info this one is on the chopping block for a potential trade or sale and its a pre 64 reciver.

I like that Sako, the quilted maple stock is stunning.

I have some 257 Robts brass and the AI dies. Loaded for a friend of mine.

There are 2 different 257 Robts Improved. Next time you are in Riverside let me know and we can drop one in and see if the one I have fits.

"Pre-64" only applies to Winchesters, primarily the Model 70 bolt actions. A commercial FN large ring receiver was good every year.

Those Mossbergs are not crappy guns. Surprised you broke the bolt lug, don't they use the bolt handle root for the locking lug? They are pretty accurate.

The 03, you can get a period-correct stock for it at Richards Microfit. Some of their sporter patterns are a bit dated, perfect for that gun.
