How do I identify who the maker is? The Seller said there are no marking on this repro 1858.

No markings underneath grips?? If not will almost guarantee it’s an Uberti. They make a diy black powder that has no markings. (Really all you have to do is finish it) midway USA sells them. -

Open the loading lever look under barrel and on top of lever for proofs, too.
It looks as if it has been heavily buffed and defarbed - (proofs markings removed for "reenacting".)Pitfighter.
