Renew COE On Line?

Mine expires in August and I just got the renewal letter in the mail today. No "package" just a form letter from the COE Unit, Bureau of Firearms. I never had "added" my COE to my CFARS account, and just did so, and it popped up a notice that says "Time to renew your COE...". When you log into CFARS the notification is at the top of the main page. So I don't know where you got your information but it seems there is plenty of notification going around.

I received a letter from the DOJ that my COE would expire. I didn't have a CFARS account so I set one up and renewed online. When approved you can print out the COE on your home printer.

Rudy- How long did your renewal take from CFARS submission to approval?

I just renewed, I filed my renewal on a Thursday and by Tuesday I saw the approval of the renewal.

Ya, CFARS is pretty quick.
I did get a renewal letter this year, my expiration date is April. The renewal letter, IIRC, offered CFARS ad the only way to renew, can no longer just sign and send in a check.

If you have any form of online DOJ account: DES, FSC, CFARS... you will be notified when you log-in of pending days until expiration.

the letter I just got recommended CFARS, but had a sentence that started something like "If you'd like to renew by mail..." and listed the form to fill out.
