Thumbhole stock legal on a muzzleloader?

Is a thumbhole stock muzzleloader legal in CA? I would think that it is, but kind of hoping for some confirmation/validation...

Thumbhole stocks are only an issue on center fire semi automatic firearms with a detachable magazine in California. It would be considered a AW feature.

Yes, perfectly legal as noted above. You can even have a <16" barrel on muzzleloaders.
