    Mauser P38

I am currently on vacation, but that hasn't stopped me from visiting gun stores along the way, I was in Payson, Arizona today and stopped into a very small store to see what they had that I just might be interested in. Lo and behold in amongst the ten handguns on display was this 1944 byf (Mauser) P38 this thing was as clean and unmolested as I have ever seen one with matching numbers of course. It a very early 1944 production gun as it has no letter after the serial number.

To add to the joy, it came with two genuine WWII magazines, one marked Wa135 and the other jvc. Also it had an original 1944 dated (cxa 4) pebble grain holster. The price was VERY good so I bought it and it is being sent to my hometown FFL as I am not a Arizona resident.

I did take a few pics with my phone so I can at least look at images of it until I get back home in a few months. Since they are cell phone photos, I apologize in advance for the quality.

Same one Clint used in the movie, Where Eagles Dare?

And you do have the proper spelling of my name in your Will, correct?

I see a tiny scratch on left side of the slide. When do you plan on sending it over to Rock-Ko's Refinishing Plant in Las Vegas to make it look new again?
