            I have my grandfathers 1911 he carried as a scout in the American first expedition forces in the great war, my father carried it as a flight engineer on B24s over Europe and B29s over Japan in WWII and the family issued it to me before I was to go serve in SE Asia. Oldest son will get it on my passing as all 4 of us have the same name.
