I purchased a C&R rifle on the internet , the seller insisted it go to a class 1 ffl . On entering this into my bound book who do a list as to who I got the rifle from ? I would think the FFl since it did go through his books, not the shop I actually bought it from on the internet.

Yes, you would log it into your bound book as coming from your local Type 01 FFL. He will have logged it into his book as acquired from the seller and disposed of to you.

General rule of thumb is ANY TIME you aquire or dispose of any C&R while you are licensed you recored it.
