I came across these tags the other day when I was cleaning out a junk drawer. They came attached to a #4 Mk1/2 that was FTR in 1956. I purchased it from Pony Express in the valley in the early 90s.
When I punched the cosmoline from the barrel I discovered the muzzle had fine pitting. It shot Ok but the pitting bothered me so I had it rebarreled to 7.62mm.
The rifle may have been assigned to a UK Army cadet group in Donnington, Shropshire reference the tag that reads 'Donnington Det.' The cadet group has a Facebook page that comes up for the Donnington detachment. UPDATE: A person on Gunboards pointed out that there is a Donnington Depot which is more likely than a Cadet detachment as the origin of the rifle with tags.
At the time I thought the tags indicated a war reserve rifle but now I'm leaning to inventory tags.
I actually wish I had kept it original but it is a nice shooter in 7.62mm
