How are barrels in bright shiny condition? Did they use corrosive ammo and clean after use? That blueing looks really good.

This one was likely captured from a cache. Bore looks factory new. My other Vietnam bringback T53 has a very good bore with some frosting near the throat.

the small web strap looped on the rear for the sling looks similiar to the strap used on a early M56 web pouch for M16 magazines.

notice the type of buckle matches this mag pouch?
