    I don't get this

I saw this on the J&G Sales site recently:

Steyr 95-34 Straight Pull Carbine, 8x56R, 20" Barrel, 2200 Meter Sight, C&R, VG, Used.
    $489.95

    Link (In case you don't believe me);

To my untrained eye, it looks a regular Steyr M95 THAT use to sell (not-that-long-ago) for $79.00!!!

Am I missing somethin' or has J&G Sales gone the way of Classic Arms?

I think they got "Classic" fever... I've been in there a few times recently, and their C&R prices have gone nuts....
      Poke'm with a stick!

Wow, at first I thought they were just really expensive, but I didn't realize they were f*** with

They should come up with a new designation, maybe M95-39? Because you know, in 1939 they were proofed and issued to the SS

          Get yours now, only $1495!!

It's not, these are new and improved!!

Direct quote from their description, I bolded the interesting part

"The refinished metal and stock have been recently stamped with a Nazi eagle and Waffenamts and the stock shows typical dents and dings from service. This rifle is a recreation of a Nazi service carbine cut down from a M95 rifle with a 2200 meter rear rifle sight"

Bubba is somewhere out there, and he's got stamps and a hammer! Looks like Classic and now J&G are using his services

If nothing else, it at least sounds like it's a one off.

So a humped $190 Carbine becomes worth $490? Makes sense to me. [emoji849]

                    It's a bubba special.

                    It's worth less than a non-molested M95 is.

What did PT Barnum say years ago about fools? Looks like the fools are alive and well even if P.T. Barnum is now going by a different name. It is still a circus out there folks. the quickest way for us to lose new supporters is for them to get taken on their first gun purchase and know they got screwed by gun dealers who claim to be on our side. So get the word out and boycott bad dealers and those who only care about profit at our expense. Sometimes i think the dealers whine in front of us and then laugh when they walk into the back room and thank God that the government screwed the public again.

                        I asked them:

"Do you guys have some obnoxious, sweaty loudmouth guy in there pacing around, dry firing all the guns, and flinging spittle all over the place?"

                        They replied:

"Not since the last time you came in Bob..."

I have never seen waffen stamps on a M95.

Do they have different management or owners? Bought a lot of stuff from them about 7 years ago and things were very fairly priced.

Blasphemy! They have been coming up with interesting lots of rifles lately, but pretty much all of them are grossly overpriced. They have a bunch of arisakas and random mausers, most not in terribly good shape but priced like premium stuff. Seems weird. Maybe one of their millenial kids took over the business and is now trying to screw everyone to buy a new electric car or something...
