Stupid question about printing ffl03 copies, and the card that comes with it.

You don't have to make copies of both sides of the licence, right? I wouldn't think so, but I thought I might as well ask.

Also, does anyone carry the card with them? Do they show this to dealers when they make transactions?

    Thank you all.

I just make multiple copies of my 03 FFL and give one to the seller at every transaction. Make sure you don't date the original copy. You're supposed to sign and date the copy for every transaction.

That is not a "stupid" question, but a VERY good one.

Thank you. I read in other threads not to date or sign the original, so I got that covered. Did you make a copy of the backside of the form as well as the front?

Just took the app out of the safe. There's no info on the back that I would find necessary enough to warrant a copy of the backside.

I don't why they even provide the card.

They go to all the trouble of printing it up and so on, and then print on it "Not Valid for the Sale or Disposition of Firearms."
"Did I say "republic?" By God, yes, I said "republic!" Long live the glorious republic of the United States of America. Damn democracy. It is a fraudulent term used, often by ignorant persons but no less often by intellectual fakers, to describe an infamous mixture of socialism, miscegenation, graft, confiscation of property and denial of personal rights to individuals whose virtuous principles make them offensive." - Westbrook Pegler

              No, just the front side.

When I copy mine I place my drivers license on bottom right and a reduced copy of my COE on the bottom left and scan/print. I don't worry about the back side, and I don't have to mess with extra copies... Works for me...
